030: A MING DYNASTY WUCAI CUP AND SAUCER WANLI MARK AND PERIOD A MING DYNASTY WUCAI CUP AND SAUCER WANLI MARK AND PERIOD. Dimensions: 4 1/2 x 3 x 2 in.(cup), 5 1/4 x 3/4 in.(saucer) No repair or restoration. In excellent condition. Provenance: Robert Edwards (1883-1979) and his wife Gloria (1886-1960). Thence by descent. Robert arrived in Shanghai in 1910, to work for Jardine, Matheson & Co. He married Gloria Byrne in 1917 and it was Gloria who took a special interest in acquiring Chinese antiques.
