121: A MING DYNASTY CORAL RED EWER JIAJING MARK AND PERIOD A MING DYNASTY CORAL RED EWER JIAJING MARK AND PERIOD. Dimensions: 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 4 in. Very good condition with two glaze hairlines on the bottom. Provenance: Robert Edwards (1883-1979) and his wife Gloria (1886-1960). Thence by descent. Robert arrived in Shanghai in 1910, to work for Jardine, Matheson & Co. He married Gloria Byrne in 1917 and it was Gloria who took a special interest in acquiring Chinese antiques.
