128: A LEMON YELLOW GLAZED OGEE BOWL JIAQING MARK AND PERIOD AND BOX A LEMON YELLOW GLAZED OGEE BOWL JIAQING MARK AND PERIOD AND BOX. Dimensions: 6 x 3 1/4 in. It is in excellent condition with no repairs, chips, or cracks. Provenance: Robert Edwards (1883-1979) and his wife Gloria (1886-1960). Thence by descent. Robert arrived in Shanghai in 1910, to work for Jardine, Matheson & Co. He married Gloria Byrne in 1917 and it was Gloria who took a special interest in acquiring Chinese antiques.
